300-Hour Core Curriculum & Electives

Understanding Requirements & Electives

The 300-hour Professional Development Certification facilitates a deep knowledge of: yoga philosophy in the Tantric Hatha Yoga tradition, anatomy, advanced asana instruction, and techniques. In order to ensure all advanced Pranakriya teachers are well-rounded in your experience and education, but also have the opportunity to customize your experience, we offer a number of core curriculum requirements and program electives.

We offer special pricing for repeat attendance at programs and encourage students to repeat as often as they like. Each program will only count once toward the 300-hour certification, regardless of repitition.

It is the responsibility of the student working to complete the 300-hour certification to ensure that you have met all the core requirements, taken electives according to any guidance below, and that your education credits amount to at least 300 hours when you apply to graduate. We encourage you to keep an electronic copy of all letters of attendance, and an ongoing list of your courses (including course name, dates, instructor, studio you attended/virtual, and hours earned). You will need this information when the time comes to apply for graduation.
