What music do you like to practice to if any?Depending on the intention of my practice, I vary from no music to drums to reggae and hip hop.  Coming from a dance background, sometimes I need the tones, heavy beats and rhymes to feel grounded.

UPCOMING GOALS/PLANS THAT YOU ARE EXCITED ABOUT: I am currently working towards two certifications, Planted Based Nutrition through the Center for Nutritional Studies at Cornell and Labor Doula through CAPPA.  Both of these trainings provide an abundance of information that is so important to the work I am currently focused on.  As a mother and a birth educator, nutrition is at the forefront of my daily life within my household and community.  I can’t wait to share all this new information with the families I work with!

ANYTHING ELSE YOU’D LIKE TO SHARE WITH OUR PRANAKRIYA PEEPS? My biggest piece of advice to fellow yogis is to stay committed to your daily practice.  That time is a special gift you give to yourself.  I’ve always struggled with managing all my commitments and find that my practice is the first thing I let go because of lack of time.  By staying true to my personal practice, I have the energy, physically and mentally, for my busy schedule and ever changing demands of motherhood. Keep Calm and Yoga On!
