Yoga Workout 2 Deepening our own practice of asana and making our classes richer and more satisfying for our students requires us to be on a continual journey into the inquiry and exploration of how the body moves. These five movement studies programs are designed to provide knowledge, practice and experience on your journey as a practitioner and teacher. Each course will explore a variety of postures, sequences and themes for our Pranakriya classes. Benefits, potential stress points, modifications, variations, prop use, assisting, layers of meaning and energetics will be covered. Students will participate in individual practice and exploration, observation, and discussion. Asana (postures) include: Dancer/Bow Pulling, Flamingo, Folded Tree, Forward Split, Lateral Angle/Rotated Lateral Angle, Rotated Balancing Half Moon, Rotated Triangle, Standing Angle, Standing Head to Toe and Standing Split.
