Core Curriculum

All 300-hour students must complete the following courses:


  • Anatomy for Yoga Practitioners & Teachers
  • Deepening the Asana Experience (take THREE of these Asana Courses – 20 hours each)
    • Asanas for Yoga Workout 1
    • Asanas for Yoga Workout 2
    • Asanas for Meditative Posture 1
    • Asanas for Meditative Posture 2
    • Asanas for Gentle Yoga 1
    • Teaching Restorative Yoga
  • Holding Space: The Energy & Anatomy of Touch
  • Meditation: Theory & Teaching
  • Pranayama: Theory & Teaching
  • The Client Relationship: Cultivating Intuitive Presence, Ethics & Boundaries
  • Yoga Philosophy (take ONE of these Tantric Hatha Yoga courses)
    • Bhagavad Gita
    • Hatha Yoga Pradipika
    • Asanas as Spiritual Doorways

NOTE (2/20/20): In anticipation of Yoga Alliance’s forthcoming 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) standards update, December 31, 2021 will be the deadline for all Pranakriya students currently pursuing their 300-hour YTT to complete the requirements under the current curriculum. After December 31, 2021, all Pranakriya graduates will earn certification according to our new curriculum. It is our strongest desire to assist you in completing in a timely manner.  To assist in this effort, please complete this form by March 15, 2020.

NOTE (1/1/2016): Client Relationship is required for students beginning their program in 2016 or who have only completed 5 or fewer programs by 2016.

How to Receive Your 300-Hour Certificate

Complete all core curriculum and electives

Either scan and email your Letters of Attendance  or submit an email listing the program name/date/studio attended

Wait for confirmation from PK that all courses will be accepted

Submit a processing payment of $50 made payable to Pranakriya School of Yoga Healing Arts

Please note that processing a certificate can take up to 3-weeks.  If you would like your certificate given to you at your final program, please allow enough processing time.
