Welcome to an experience of Pranakriya Yoga. Teachings are based on Tantra Hatha Yoga principles. As the practice of yoga can be transformational, it is the duty of the student to practice self-care. Asana, pranayama, and meditation may create challenges on a physical, mental, or emotional level. Ancient teachings and practices may challenge personal beliefs. Not all yoga instruction is appropriate for everyone. Instruction offered in Pranakriya programs may present physical, mental, or emotional challenges. It is the duty of the participant to practice self-care, monitoring yourself closely to determine the appropriateness of the teachings to your unique individual physical, mental, and emotional capacities. As you go through the program, take time to integrate. Reach out to the Program Director or studio staff if anything arises that may require integration beyond the scope of the program. If the practices offered become uncomfortable beyond what you feel is manageable, you are encouraged to modify, opt-out, observe. Of course, for some programs specific practice hours are required for certification. We encourage all students to practice with focus at a level to both humble and inspire their lives. We work to foster an open and accepting community of growth, healing, and transformation that invites all practitioners to listen deeply and to respectfully follow their own psycho-social-biological limitations and their own soul’s dharma. In no event shall Pranakriya School of Yoga Healing Arts be liable for any special, direct, indirect, consequential, or incidental damage, or any damages whatsoever, whether in an action of contract, negligence, or other tort, arising out of or in connection with the Pranakriya School of Yoga Healing Arts (PKSYHA), or its Yoga Teacher Training or the contents and practice of such Training. By registering and attending any PKSYHA training, you are acknowledging that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. By attending this PKSYHA training, you hereby acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and agree not to hold PKSYHA, the PKSYHA Teachers, Directors, the affiliated studios, or any of their affiliates, directors, officers ,employees, agents, contractors, or volunteers liable for any illness or injury, to you or to any other person(s) you may subsequently expose to disease. For valuable consideration received, I grant to Pranakriya School of Yoga Healing Arts and its directors the absolute and irrevocable right and unrestricted permission concerning any photographs that the Photographer has taken or may take of me, or in which I may be included with others, to use, reuse, publish, and republish the photographs in whole or in part, individually or in connection with other material, in any and all media now or hereafter known, including the internet, and for any purpose whatsoever, specifically including illustration, promotion, art, editorial, advertising, and trade, without restriction as to alteration; and to use my name in connection with any use if the Photographer so chooses. I release and discharge the Photographer from any and all claims and demands that may arise out of or in connection with the use of the photographs, including without limitation any and all claims for libel or violation of any right of publicity or privacy. This authorization and release shall also inure to the benefit of the heirs, legal representatives, licensees, and assigns of the Photographer, as well as the person(s) for whom the Photographer took the photographs. I am a legally competent adult and have the right to contract in my own name. I have read this document and fully understand its contents.
