The Client Relationship: Cultivating Intuitive Presence, Boundaries & Ethics *Virtual*
Within the deeper practice of asana, pranayama and meditation, this program implements work to help build and maintain healthy resources for the teacher to access when working individually with students. Tools are offered to: strengthen and expand awareness of the physical, mental and energetic body, and to teach ways to discern how these patterns affect others so that each session is more grounded and centered. Guidance is given in accessing your own inner wisdom (witness) and helping others to find that for themselves, building trust in your skills and intuition as a teacher and your client/students’ ability to find better health and balance. We explore the ethical issues facing yoga teachers working with clients today and the scope of practice in this ever evolving world. The more fundamental business aspects of a therapeutic yoga practice, for example, Soap notes, intake forms and professional therapeutic boundaries will also be covered.
This course earns 20 YA CEUs, and forms part of the core curriculum of requirements for Pranakriya’s 300-hour certification program.
*Please note: For health and safety concerns, this program is being held virtually via Zoom*
