Thai Mentorship

Thai Mentorship (30+ hours self-directed, then 5-6 hours with a PK Thai Mentor – $300)

Prerequisites: Holding Space, Thai Yoga Basics,  Thai Sen Lines, Thai Sequencing and Transitions, Thai Practicum, Anatomy for Yoga Practitioners

Teachers Part I – Self-Directed:

After completing Thai Transitions & Sequences and the Thai Practicum, complete and document FIFTEEN 2 hour sessions, incorporating all techniques learned in the training, adapted to the needs and presentation of your client.

Part II – With a PK Thai Mentor:

After completing all coursework and the documented sessions, In-person mentoring:  Arrange for a 4-5—hour private Mentoring Session with an Approved PK Thai Yoga mentor to give and discuss a 2-hour session and then receive a 2-hour session.  Feedback on your session will be given before/during/after the session you receive. You will be notified of any additional practice and documentation necessary to meet certification requirements.

Distance Mentoring:

If you cannot arrange for two different Mentoring Sessions with Approved PK Thai Yoga mentors.  For each Mentoring Session, video record yourself giving a 2-hour Thai Yoga session.  After submitting the video, have a phone conversation with an Approved PK Thai Yoga mentor to discuss the video session.

You will be notified during this phone call of any additional practice and documentation necessary to meet certification requirements. The Mentorship will be considered complete when all finished documenting materials plus $300 have been received by William Hufschmidt (or an approved PK Thai Yoga therapists).

Final Approval might require a 30-60 minute phone call with William regarding the documentation, and any follow-up homework required, including repeating the mentoring session.
