300-Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training
Pranakriya Yoga is one of the most solidly grounded, transformational and logically structured yoga teacher training programs in the United States. Our program trains teachers who have a love for yoga born out of practice and experience. Our goal is to skillfully encourage personal reflection regarding physical, mental and emotional aspects inherent in each pose, pranayama and meditation, helping students recognize that what is discovered on the mat can be used in everyday living.
Our Directors are compassionate and reassuring, asking teachers-in-training to play with the edges of your comfort zones so you can feel fully alive. Once you discover this aliveness, you, in turn, can share it with others.
Our program consists of 300+ hours of coursework and practicum, exceeding the Yoga Alliance standards. Upon completion of this program, you will be eligible for the RYT-500 designation from the Yoga Alliance. This program is for students that have already completed a 200-hour basic yoga teacher training with Pranakriya or any other certified yoga school.
Within this program you will complete: 200+ hours of required core curriculum, and 80+ hours of specialized electives.
A Note About our 300-Hour Program:
Those working toward their 300-Hour Certification can keep track of their progress using this checklist.
We offer special pricing for repeat attendance at programs, and encourage students to repeat as often as you’d like. However, each program will only count once toward the 300-hour certification.
Eligibility and Requirements
There are no application procedures nor registration fees to start our 300-hour program, and courses do not have to be taken in any specific order. After completing an approved 200-hour yoga teacher training, you may take the required courses as we rotate through them at any of our host studios, or online when permitted. After finishing each course you will receive a letter of completion. When you have completed your coursework you may register with us as a Pranakriya Professional Level Yoga Teacher.
There is a $50 registration fee to review your letters and issue your certificate. With this certificate you may register with the Yoga Alliance as a 300-hour graduate of a Registered Yoga School, earning the RYT-500 designation. We encourage teachers to participate in our training courses in a way that suits each one’s interest, time, and financial well-being.
We encourage all students working on the advanced level certification to complete the program requirements by December 31, 2023 in order to remain under current Pranakriya and Yoga Alliance guidelines. New requirements and structure to the program are anticipated starting January 1, 2024.

Eligibility & Requirements
Apply for Graduation
When you are almost finished with your 300-hour program, there are a few steps you to take in order to graduate:
Complete the 300-hour completion checklist for yourself and make sure all requirements have been/will be met, and that you will have at least 300 hours total.
With 2 or 3 courses left before completion: Scan all your letters of attendance, and along with a list of the courses you took/where you took them/course dates, send to info@pranakriya.com where we will review them and make sure we are all on the same page.
Once you get the thumbs up that your materials and progress have been reviewed, register for any remaining courses.
Just before your take your last course, check in with us again and pay the $50 graduation fee. Upon completion of that last course, you will receive a digital certificate and a hard copy will follow by mail. The electronic copy can be used to apply for RYT500 status with Yoga Alliance, if you wish.
