Kimberly Murphy

E-RYT 500, C-IAYT, YACEP

Kimberly is certified at the 200-hour level through both Kripalu and the Pranakriya School of Yoga Healing Arts. She also holds her 500-hour and 500-hour Yoga Therapy certifications through Pranakriya. Additionally, Kimberly is a Thai yoga practitioner, yoga therapist and reflexologist. She is a Program Director for Pranakriya’s 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training program and for the Teaching Restorative Yoga program at the 300-hour level. Kim is training to lead the Meditation: Theory & Teaching program which is also part of the 300-hour level certification with Pranakriya.

Kimberly believes that yoga can heal the body from the inside out and is a necessary component to any fitness goal, and life. After suffering from bouts of depression most of her life, Kimberly began to practice yoga in 1992. Realizing that when yoga was part of her everyday routine, she was able to see things in a positive way and as a result had more energy, felt alive and was able to face whatever challenge life brings. Kim has a passion for knowledge that led her to teaching, but she will always be a student first.

Kim is the owner of Crofton Yoga, and is part of Pranakriya’s 200-hour subcommittee. She also serves as a mentor for a Director-in-Training for the 200-hour YTT.
