Program Description:
This 20-hour course is full of experiential, fun-filled, and playful stories, activities, games, meditations and more that provide yoga teachers with a variety of tools to explore and teach yoga philosophy and lifestyle in a kid-friendly manner. By learning age appropriate practice techniques from a unique Pranakriya perspective, we can bring the essence of yoga to children of all ages. Students learn to incorporate the underlying principles of yoga into a kids’, tween, or teen yoga class in dynamic, relevant, and creative ways. Through interactive discussion, students look at ethical situations and offer appropriate responses for different age groups and various venues where children’s yoga might be taught.

This program makes yoga philosophy accessible not only for kids, but for everyone! We invite 200-hour yoga teachers from all traditions to join us, as well as school and preschool teachers and administrators, interested caregivers, and more.

Instructors: Usha Lakshmi, E-RYT 500, RCYT, YACEP; Amy Necci, MEd, E-RYT 200, RYT 500, YACEP.
