Program Description
Deepening our own practice of asana and making our classes richer and more satisfying for our students requires us to be on a continual journey into the inquiry and exploration of how the body moves. As one of five movement studies programs, this course is designed to provide you knowledge, practice and experience on your journey as a practitioner and teacher. Each course explores a variety of postures, sequences and themes for our Pranakriya classes. Benefits, potential stress points, modifications, variations, prop use, assisting, layers of meaning and energetics are covered. Students will participate in individual practice and exploration, observation, and discussion.

This course serves as an option to mee the asana course requirements for Pranakriya’s 300-hour certification program; may also be used as an elective. Completion of this course also provides 20 YA CEUs.
