Retreat Policies: Payment of Balance, Refunds, Cancellations, Wait List, Travel, Health

Payment of Balance

After the initial deposit of $500/person, the payment schedule is as follows:
50% of the balance is due by November 10, 2024, and the remaining balance is due by January 10, 2025.
You may also opt to pay the full balance by November 10th in order to avoid any confusion and delays with the winter holidays*. You may also opt to pay your balance earlier, if that is more convenient for you.

Checks are preferred. We recommend mailing checks at least 10 days in advance to ensure your balance is received on time.

If you prefer to pay by credit card, please let us know by November 10, 2024 and January 10, 2025, for payments due on that schedule. We will send you an invoice by email, due on November 10, 2024 and January 10, 2025. Payments by credit card will be adjusted to add 4% processing fee.
For example:  your balance due is $775 (+ 4% ), the total amount due will be $806.00.

*Balances not received by November 10, 2024 and January 10, 2025, as due, will be subject to $10/day late fee per reservation.

Cancellations and Refunds

If you are no longer able to attend the retreat, you must contact us at info@pranakriya.com as soon as you know. Please do not wait, as there are people on the wait list who need to make their plans and get their paperwork in order.

Refund Schedule

September 1, 2024 or before: Deposit fully refunded less $50 administrative fee.

September 2 – November 10, 2024: Deposit refunded only if there is someone on the wait list to take your spot, or you have someone lined up to take your spot (wait list takes preference). Less $50 administrative fee.

November 11, 2024 - January 10, 2025: Your payment refunded only if there is someone on the wait list to take your spot, or you have someone lined up to take your spot (wait list takes preference). Less $50 administrative fee.

January 11 - March 10, 2025: No refunds or credits, you may transfer your registration to another individual with advanced agreement.

Refunds will be issued by check.

Participants are responsible for securing the needed international travel documents and any public health related procedures and paperwork (COVID-19 or other) in advance of travel, as well as travel insurance. Pranakriya is not responsible for securing this documentation, and is not able to issue refunds or credits based on a participant not having this paperwork in place as needed in order to travel. Participants are responsible for monitoring requirements and policies for themselves; Pranakriya will do our best to communicate any important international updates to participants. Please refer to the Travel section for more information.

Wait List

Once the retreat is full, we will begin a wait list. To join the wait list, please contact us at info@pranakriya.com. Wait list requests will be honored in the order in which they are received, without exception. Should a spot become available, the next person on the wait list will be contacted and will have 24 hours in which to respond and provide their deposit. Should that person decide to pass on the accommodation type/price point, or not respond within 24 hours, they will be moved to the bottom of the list and the next person will be contacted.

Travel

Regarding the availability and schedule of flights: No one can say what flight schedule or other travel changes may take place between now and March 2025. These are decisions made by governments and airlines (and also pertain to weather conditions). Pranakriya is not responsible for any travel changes or delays that may result in you missing part of the program or incurring additional charges. The best we can do is to recommend you give yourself whatever buffers you are able to manage within your schedule and budget so you have the best chance possible of arriving on time.

Passports are needed for this trip for US citizens; if you have a different nationality, please explore immediately if you will require something in addition to a valid passport (such as a visa). If you will need new documentation (check expiration dates), we recommend applying immediately and with expedited service in order to ensure you have all the required documentation well in advance of the trip. These documents can take several months to secure. Not having the required documentation at travel time will sadly result in forfeiting your spot on the trip without the possibility of a refund.
