200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) and Policies
Payments
We offer a range of payment levels and options. Please refer to your specific upcoming program for rates and enrollment deadlines. Checks are preferred, made out (exactly) to Pranakriya School of Yoga Healing Arts, Inc. Payments made by credit card will be subject to 4% fee to cover our expenses.
Payment plans are available, subject to agreement by all parties (Pranakriya, studio, program director, and student). All payment plans are at the Full Rate and are subject to 4% credit card processing fee per transaction.
Cancellation, Refunds, Missed Sessions, Student Withdrawal from Program
All applications are submitted with a $50 non-refundable application fee.
Cancellation of Enrollment Before Program Begins
Once accepted into the program and before the program begins, should a student cancel their enrollment, we offer reimbursement at varying levels (dependent on how late the cancellation takes place). Please refer to your specific upcoming program for this schedule. Applications are accepted until two weeks prior to the program start. At this time, applications are no longer accepted, and there is no refund for tuition paid.
Cancellation of Program due to Low Enrollment
Should minimum numbers not be met, the program may be canceled. All applicants will receive a full tuition refund should this occur. No refunds will be given for the application fee. Students may opt to roll their enrollment to a future YTT at the same studio, at the current rate. Rates are expected to increase annually.
Missed Sessions
Participants who are unable to attend program sessions on scheduled dates, whether because of a conflict they knew about ahead of time, or because of illness, must schedule make-up date(s) with the Program Director, at an additional fee to the participant. We recommend including a note about any potential conflicts in your application and discussing it with the Program Director at your interview.
Student Withdrawal from Program
Should a student withdraw from the program for any reason once it has begun, they shall provide written notice to the Program Director, Studio, and PKSYHA of the intent to withdraw, and any intention to complete the training at another time. Student does not have to provide documentation concerning their decision to leave the program, however a conversation with the Program Director will allow the Director, Studio, and School to best support the student. Any payment plan in effect must still be completed on the agreed-upon schedule. No refund once the deadline has passed.
Should the student wish to re-enroll in the future and apply their tuition as credit for another 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training program through PKSYHA, the student must take the program the next time it is offered at that studio, or complete it within 2 years of the original end date, taking the full program at that time beginning with Weekend 1. Re-enrollment for a future YTT is at discretion of the Pranakriya Executive Director, YTT Program Director, and Studio, and will only be considered once minimum enrollment has been met.
Should the student be accepted for re-enrollment, the student will be responsible to pay any difference in the tuition at the time of acceptance, and additionally is responsible for paying for the materials fees for the new program.
