Description
This 20-hour course guides the yoga teacher through the anatomy and developmental stages the young body experiences from preschool age through the teenage years. Students learn how muscles, bones, brains, and skills develop over time. Trainees practice and learn to cultivate safe and playful movement patterns for each stage of development. Students of the program understand the anatomy and development of growing children in order to safely guide them in movement, and have been provided opportunities for self-growth and personal reflection.

This course is a requirement for Pranakriya's Children's Yoga Teacher certification program, and serves as an elective for Pranakriya's 300-hour advanced certification program. This course earns the student 20 YA CEU's.

We welcome all yoga teachers from all schools and traditions to join us for this program. We also welcome educators, administrators, parents, guardians, and child caregivers!

Instructor
