Day 2: Love & Softness
What are your shoulders doing right now?
When was the last time you took a full breath, complete inhale and exhale?
Wherever you are sit tall, relax the shoulders, and take a deep belly breath. Filling up and exhaling as your body relaxes.
In this relaxed state, send love to each part of your body.
Today's theme: Softness & Love
When was the last time you said I love you to yourself?
Softness is more than relaxing. Softness is truly letting go.
It is letting yourself be vulnerable. It requires you to be present with yourself and mindful of your mental state.
Yesterday you were encouraged to be aware of your physical body, and today, can you be aware of your mental body? Awareness here, at the Manomaya Kosha, allows us to be conscious of our subtle body.
Here, we can begin to do the work that goes beyond our physical body and explore the layers that are harder to experience.
Often, this is where students get frustrated, because they feel they can't silence the mind, turn away from their stories, or connect with their inner world. They struggle to find a sense of mindfulness, to let go into softness.
This is where the LOVE comes in.
Can you allow yourself this moment, to love yourself, no matter what the outcome? Even if the mind wanders, the body aches or the words don't come when you journal.
Can you still say, "I love you self," at the end?
Today, and in all our sessions, we ask you to bring this love onto the mat.

After completing the experience, use the Day 2 writing prompt from your workbook to guide your journaling.
In light and love,
