Day 3: Expansion & Grace

Swami Kripalu’s teacher, Shantanada gave him the name Kripalvananda, often shortened to Kripalu, which means grace or compassion. Friend of Pranakriya, (Shobhan) Richard Faulds writes about this in his book Dharma then Moksha: the Untold Story of Swami Kripalu.

Day 3: Expansion & Grace

Think of a time you experienced a BIG emotion. A time when you felt so strongly it was as if your body couldn't contain it.

Can you find these moment in your childhood, young adulthood and even now?

How did it feel to let yourself grow internally?

Today's theme: Expansion & Grace

Okay, but why the part about grace?

The connection we have to Prana affects our sense of self, and by understanding how it flows, we can begin to channel it towards a stronger connection with our personal Self. The capital "S", who we are, our spirit and our energy, SELF

That Self and Spirit Prana resides in the Anandamaya Kosha, our bliss body, and is the most subtle of our energy layers. This makes it the hardest to reach, to hardest to concentrate on, the hardest to connect to on a daily basis.

Okay, so as a householder, how do we find that connection and expand?

We look for moments of grace.

Our perception of the world is influenced by our energy level and by being present for moments of grace, of love, and connection we build a charge. This charge guides our expansion, our growth, and brings us closer to Spirit.

We naturally find ourselves connected to Prana as it flows through us.

As you practice today, we hope you'll allow yourself to seek this grace out.

In light and expansion,
Jai Bhagwan 🙏
